Game basics

How the Season 6 client works on HL2GO MU Online. Read this once, then use it as a reference.

Mouse & combat

  • Left click — walk, attack monsters, talk to NPCs, pick dialog options.
  • Right click — use / equip items from inventory when allowed.
  • Scroll wheel — zoom camera.
  • Space — pick up nearby loot. Hold Alt to see item names on the ground.
  • Hold Ctrl while clicking to attack another player (PvP). Without Ctrl you only hit monsters.

Inventory, character, vault

V or I opens inventory: equipment on the left / character doll, bag grid on the right. Drag to equip; right-click potions, scrolls, and jewels to use them.

C opens character stats. After each level you get free points — put them into your main damage stat (see below) and enough Vitality to stay alive.

Warehouse NPC Baz in town opens account vault storage. Park spare gear and jewels there before long hunts so a death or full bag does not force bad drops.

Stats (what to put points in)

  • Strength (STR) — physical damage; needed to wear heavy weapons/armor. Primary for Dark Knight and physical Magic Gladiator.
  • Agility (AGI) — attack speed, defense rate, bow damage for Elf.
  • Vitality (VIT) — HP. Always keep some; more for PvP.
  • Energy (ENE) — magic damage and mana. Primary for Wizard, Summoner, support Elf, magic MG / DL skills.
  • Command (CMD) — Dark Lord only; improves pet and leadership effects.

Jewels — do not sell these blindly

  • Jewel of Bless — safe upgrade +0 → +6 (one level per jewel).
  • Jewel of Soul — +7 → +9. Failures can downgrade; +9 fail can destroy the item.
  • Jewel of Life — adds / improves Life options on eligible gear; also used in mixes.
  • Jewel of Chaos — required for almost every Chaos Goblin combination (wings, tickets, pets).
  • Jewel of Creation — rare; used in advanced crafts (e.g. higher wings). Keep it.

Right-click a jewel onto an item (or use the Chaos Machine NPC in Noria / town for combinations). Excellent drop rules here follow Vanilla OpenMU excellent rules (level Δ 25).

Zen vs WCoin

  • Zen — drops from monsters, used for NPC shops, repairs, warps, Chaos mixes, and resets (10,000,000 zen at level 400).
  • WCoinC — account Cash Shop currency. Starter 500; each reset adds 10. Open Cash Shop with X.

Chat commands (/)

Type commands in the chat box (Enter). Start with /list — that is the live list for your character. GM-only commands will not appear for normal players.

Party & survival

Party with friends for safer fields — EXP share uses OpenMU defaults. Keep HP/Mana potions on Q–R. Repair at town smiths when durability is low. Rates: Server Info (50x EXP).
