Server Rules

HL2GO MU Online community rules. Community-wide HL2GO rules also apply at hl2go.com/rules.

1. Fair play
No cheats, speed hacks, memory editors, or automated bots that give unfair advantage. Detected accounts may be banned.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account. Do not share passwords. Multi-client is allowed within reason; abusive multi-boxing that harms events may be limited.
3. Chat & conduct
No harassment, hate speech, scams, or real-money trading of accounts/items outside official channels. Keep PvP rivalry in-game.
4. Exploits & bugs
Report bugs to GMs. Abusing an exploit after it is known can mean rollbacks or bans. We prefer fixing over punishing honest reports.
5. Economy
Classic-friendly economy: no extreme pay-to-win focus. Optional convenience/cosmetics may appear later. Donate items never replace skill.
6. Wipes & data
Long-term Season 6 classic. No scheduled character/account wipes. Economy or balance patches may adjust rates, events, or shop items with advance notice on Changelog. Full wipe only if the server permanently closes — announced publicly first.
7. GM decisions
Staff rulings are final for edge cases. Appeal calmly via Contacts. Impersonating a GM is a ban.
